If you consider yourself a bit of a Fancophile (and no, that is not a word for your obsession with the Franco brothers), then you’re going to want to get amongst the Total Brisbane French Festival this weekend (10-12 July)!
Welcoming in its fifth year, the French Festival will see 1.3 tonnes of French cheese descend upon the hearts of Brisbane. 1.3 TONNES PEOPLE!!! As if all that cheese isn’t enough to get you racing down to Southbank this weekend, our French friends have also shipped in 2,000 bottles of Champagne and wine for this action-packed weekend.
Total Brisbane French Festival will bring the luxury of France to Brisbane, with celebrity designers, musicians, heiresses, food connoisseurs and wine experts flying direct from France to host Australia’s first and largest French Festival.
This year’s festival promises to be bigger and better than ever, with an exclusive performance from the Paris Underground Cabaret and an eighteen-piece Noumean band set to open the festival, before two jam-packed days of French food, fashion and fun.
The festival will host a variety of masterclasses on all things French, from food, wine and fashion to etiquette and silverware styling, French-spoken yoga classes and a sabring masterclass.
As if all this glorious French fun wasn’t enough for you, you can also go in the draw to win a heap of awesome raffle prizes including a trip to Paris, two flights to New Caledonia, a seven day River cruise through France, two return tickets from Brisbane to Tahiti, and a weekend at the Brisbane Sofitel.
